AWS DevOps Engineer Position

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and managing the automation of operational processes to ensure AWS systems are highly available, reliable, secure, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation, release, and configuration of production systems
  • Deploy, maintain, and manage an AWS production system
  • Design, maintain, and manage automation of operational processes
  • Ensure AWS systems are highly available, reliable, secure, and scalable
  • Provide primary support for cloud and enterprise deployments
  • Analyze manual processes to identify those that can be automated
  • Maintain and improve the organization's cloud infrastructure
  • Lead teams in charge of designing, testing, and deploying changes to existing software

Requirements:

  • At least 1.5 years of experience in AWS environment operation and management
  • Experience building AWS environments
  • Experience using infrastructure as code
  • Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language
  • Experience with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, QuickSight, CloudFront, SQS, ElastiCache, and/or Lambda
  • Experience with multi-tier architectures
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and securing AWS environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
