Mindshare, a global agency with over 7,000 employees across 116 offices, is seeking a Senior Director – Content to join our team. As the Senior Content Director, you will oversee all aspects of content strategy and development, focusing on branded content, website content, and SEO optimization.
About the Role
This role reports to the Partner – Content and involves working closely with clients, external partners, and internal teams to plan, develop, and deliver content that meets client requirements. Your goals will include understanding categories and brand objectives, developing liaisons internally and externally, and assessing mid-term revenue targets for Content projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create new assets and associate with existing content/IPs to achieve business goals in a sustainable fashion.
- Work closely with the reporting manager and clients to understand, debrief, and execute content briefs with varying turnaround times.
- Oversee the development and optimization of website content to enhance user experience, improve SEO performance, and drive organic traffic.
- Manage relationships with external partners to ensure smooth execution during projects.
- Develop content strategies based on client briefs and understanding.
- Acknowledge revenue objectives and collaborate with internal and external teams to plan and deliver content.
- Develop a content calendar that meets client requirements across multiple touchpoints and markets.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven work experience in branded content across mediums in client servicing roles.
- Experience in influencer and social marketing, with knowledge of how websites work.
- A creative streak, strategic thought process, and some understanding of analytics and business quotient to drive content projects.
- Experience in vendor management and people skills to build equity with partners.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office and point of view on usage of tools like Photoshop.
- Knowledge of SEO and social media trends and tools.
- Attention to detail and good organizational and time-management skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in Advertising and Media Agency/Publisher. Experience with both will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 7-9 years of relevant experience in content marketing, Social Media Marketing, conceptualizing, and execution dynamics.
- Excellent writing skills in English.

Salary Range: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
