Key Responsibilities

The Sales Officer is accountable for acquiring new clients within the branch catchment area, building strong relationships, and growing the liability book through the cross-selling of various banking products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Acquire new current and savings accounts from the branch catchment area
  • Source high-quality salary accounts from corporates
  • Activate accounts, link UPI, manage balances, and increase wallet share of banking products, including insurance, mortgages, unit-linked products, and mutual funds
  • Participate in corporate induction and migration events around the catchment area
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage existing relationships from SMEs
  • Conduct low-cost micro-marketing activities around the catchment area for lead generation
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of banking products and services.
