We are seeking a friendly and organized professional individual to join our healthcare team. This role requires excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages as needed, schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Register patients, verify insurance information, maintain and update patient records using hospital management systems.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail or deliveries, maintain a clean, safe, and organized reception area.
  • Assist with billing and co-pay collections when necessary, coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist in a hospital or medical setting is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and patient management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
