Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient back-end services and APIs using Python and Django.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of new products and services across the development stack, integrate third-party services and APIs, write clean, modular, and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues and bugs, and stay current with the latest technologies and trends in back-end development.

Preferred qualifications include expertise in Docker and containerized deployments, a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, proficiency with PostgreSQL, experience in database design and management, basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.

AWS, Azure, or GCP experience is also preferred, as is exposure to healthcare IT standards such as HIPAA compliance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in back-end development
  • Proficiency in Python, Django, and relevant frameworks and tools
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
