Job Title: Payroll Analyst

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join our team.

About the Role:

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data and payroll transactions, supporting all payroll functions and programs impacting employees, and serving as a resource for the employee population. They will also be responsible for processing complete and accurate payroll information, including new hires, terminations, tax and payment election setup, ongoing and one-time earning and deduction processing, garnishment/support order processing, updating the employee payroll database in compliance with financial policies and statutory and contractual requirements, performing rigorous quality checks on payroll data to ensure accuracy and avoid unnecessary re-work, delivering payroll services to agreed timelines, implementing changes to policies and procedures within own area, ensuring a consistent approach across the organization, operating payroll 'Service Now Ticketing System' and resolving routine employee queries, participating in continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations, and performing tax adjustments as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma and 2 years of experience in US and Canada payroll, knowledge of multi-state pay requirements and taxes, knowledge of Dayforce Payroll and Workday HR (a plus), knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, attention to detail, accurate and efficient data entry skills, ability to follow documented processes, ability to work within deadlines, ability to work in a team environment, ability to be flexible during month and year end closings, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and managers.
