Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in a key role that involves driving business continuity, IT professionalism, and user satisfaction.

About the Role

  • Application, change, and project support responsibilities
  • Incident management: keeping systems up and running by applying a controlled process of registering, monitoring, and resolving application-related tickets
  • Monitoring overall performance of application, responsible for integrity of production environment
  • Maintaining applications according to service level agreements and regional business needs
  • Periodic standby for emergencies (24x7 availability schedule)
  • Operationalizing priority setting as agreed with business stakeholders
  • Functioning as 1st escalation point for 3rd party vendors and users
  • Application maintenance related services
  • Identifying deviations from policy and standards, contributing to changes after approval
  • Ensuring process compliance for area of responsibility
  • Taking care of proper and updated documentation of application (technical - process – and end-user documentation)
  • Keeping configuration databases up to date for business processes and applications in scope
  • Executing changes & enhancements: describing problems, analyzing information, preparing solutions, executing system changes (self or by third party), unit testing changes, updating user documentation, implementation, aftercare
  • Conducting tests as defined in integration test specifications, recording details of any failures and carrying out fault diagnosis
  • Analyzing and supporting training needs of key-users, creating/maintaining training material
  • Periodically visiting customers (sites), discussing tickets, wishes etc. with key users, demonstrating visibility
  • Frequently contacting key users on open tickets & acting as co-coordinator for Key User networks and meetings
  • Co-responsible for ensuring applications function and operate appropriately
  • Supporting project handover activities (hand over from deliverables and knowledge from a project to the Application Maintenance teams) for the area of responsibility
  • Supporting projects in execution of changes/enhancements
  • Participating in implementation improvements and optimization projects
  • Creating and checking content of transports
  • Playing an active role in Change Advisory Boards
  • Administering SAP Ariba & SAP Ariba Network configurations, as well as SAP Ariba configuration tables in SAP ECC
  • Configuring & reviewing SAP Ariba approval flow setups and data
  • Implementing further automation initiatives
  • Supporting complex seller integrations
