Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT operations, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain technical architectures for cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and operate cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, PaaS services, and automation tools.
  • Lead and participate in process improvement discussions, identifying bottlenecks and providing technical insight to drive change.
  • Design, write, and deliver scripts to improve availability, scalability, reliability, and efficiency of cloud platforms.
  • Maintain and update cloud support policies, practices, and methodologies.
  • Responsible for resolving support tickets within our ITSM platform tool; incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and change requests.
  • Participate in POC's and projects focused on business transformation, including new technology deployment, ensuring uptime of systems, and integration with different business systems.
  • Provide guidance and build documentation around the overall architecture and operations of technology.
  • Take ownership of all assigned tasks, projects, and drive to resolution; researching and escalating to vendors as necessary.
  • Manage, support, and enhance voice platforms; MS Teams and Cisco UC suite of tools (UCCX/CUCM).
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly knowledge sharing sessions to guide technical skills enhancement for the Service Desk team.
  • Manage and support escalation requests from the Service Desk team.
  • Provide senior-level mentorship to Service Desk team members on daily issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with PaaS services, such as analytics, and automation tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
