Responsibilities:Project Management:
  • Serve as project leader of standing agile teams who plan, coordinate, and execute value delivery of various business and technical initiatives; manage dependencies across teams as needed.
  • Manage planning, estimation, and delivery of software and technology delivery projects using best practices outlined by ISO Technology PMO.
  • Drive technology initiative planning, tracking of key milestones, and effective communications of projects with stakeholders in ISO.
  • Effectively manage expectations of all stakeholders on milestones and deliverables using data where appropriate.
  • Work closely with product owners to ensure the team strives to achieve shared understanding of deliverables' scope from project / release planning level to work item level.
  • Evaluate and maintain a healthy product backlog continuously refined and prioritized through collaboration with business partners.
  • Lead and oversee software release planning - ensures smooth planning, collaboration, communication, and execution of UAT and Production application deployments of value to customers and users.
  • Manage and mitigate risk to projects; track down resolutions to critical issues or escalate when necessary.
  • Implement technology's organizational standards, tools, and best practices such as status reporting, KPIs and metrics, operational processes, time reporting, project reporting, and team level annual budgeting.
Agile & Scrum:
  • Create an environment that encourages team growth, culture of continuous improvement, and leads teams towards high levels of performance and delivery excellence.
  • Coach and guide teams on the importance of agile values and principles to build culture of self-organization, collaboration, empowerment, transparency, and adoption of scrum framework in practice.
  • Perform the role of scrum master for their teams to ensure teams are leveraging roles, ceremonies, and artifacts of the scrum framework; shield teams from impediments and resolve them quickly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Agile Project Life Cycles (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Confluence, Jira).
  • Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and lead effort in resolving the issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to use influence to keep teams focused and resolve conflicts.
  • Familiarity with basic development technologies and skills.
  • Ability to negotiate in reference to time management and deliverables.
  • PMP or Prince2 certification.
  • Preferably Scrum or SAFe certification.
Experience:
  • 7-10 years of proven experience in software development industry.
  • 4-6 years of proven experience serving as Project Manager or ScrumMaster for Software Development Team.
  • Experienced ScrumMaster, able to recognize obstacles impeding team progress.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management concepts.
  • Identified and managed risks and opportunities within a project.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year
