About the Role

As an HMI Expert at Bosch Global Software Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical innovation and strategic portfolio management in the realm of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software engineering.

This exciting opportunity requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of HMI SW engineering for automotive products, as well as expertise in leading technical teams and mentoring product development groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Portfolio Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to drive technical strategy and roadmap development for HMI SW engineering.
  • Support Portfolio Owner: Provide technical insights and recommendations on portfolio readiness and business strategy.
  • Mentorship and Support: Offer expert guidance and support to product teams, driving innovation and excellence in HMI SW engineering.
  • Acquisition Support: Assist in various marketing and business development activities, such as demonstrator preparation, whitepapers, webinars, and events.
  • Large Program Leadership: Contribute to customer programs as a technical expert and manage relationships as a trusted partner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in HMI SW engineering for automotive products, including 5 years of technical leadership experience.
  • Additional non-automotive domain experience is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in HMI toolchains like Qt, CGI Studio, Kanzi, and Automotive Android.
  • Knowledge of 3D toolchains like Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.
  • Strong architecting skills for HMI SW as part of a larger software architecture.
  • Experience with Agile and Hybrid Software Development methods.
  • Well-versed in ASPICE level 3 process models.
