Senior Business Operations Manager

Raw Material Management plays a pivotal role in our organization's success. This critical position is responsible for maintaining optimal stock and inventory levels, ensuring RM availability as per production targets.

• Maintain accurate records of RM receipts and consumption.
• Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and escalate any issues to the stores manager.
• Coordinate with utilities and maintenance teams to ensure plant equipment upkeep and adherence to zero discharge norms.
• Ensure raw material quality meets specified standards.
• Monitor and analyze RM Quality/ Quantity Plan Vs Actual performance.
• Inventory Status must be accurately recorded.

Production Management involves overseeing daily operations to drive efficiency and productivity. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring ENA procurement aligns with budgeted quantities.
• Accountability for plant operation according to established SOPs and WI.
• Monitoring cost of ENA to prevent exceeding budget allocations.
• Driving production according to set targets.
• Recording and analyzing process parameters, Production and plant efficiency, raw material, and utilities consumption on a daily basis.
• Improving methods for enhancements.
• Ensuring FF and water efficiency as per target.
• Recovery, FE, and DE should meet allocated budgets.
• Plant areas, cooling towers, and ETPs must be maintained clean and tidy.
• Proper gas generation at ETPs, adhering to PCB norms.
• Operating Time within area budgets.
• Scheduling activities and executing planned shutdowns.
• Planning capital item replacements based on life and performance.
• Tracking Plan Vs Actual progress.
• Monitoring Wastage % and Stoppage due to Maintenance.

Equipment and Process Efficiency necessitates careful management to optimize resources and minimize waste.

• Optimize Equipment efficiency.
• Minimize Man-hours lost in Maintenance.

Quality is paramount in this role, focusing on delivering high-quality products that meet stringent standards.

• Produce 90% ENA with sensory quality of 6.5 to 7.0.
• Analyze treated and untreated effluent against internal and PCB standards.
• Comply with each clause of water and air consent.
• Test fresh water and treated effluent through authorized test houses every six months.
• Implement OQI and review Audit Reports.

MIS & Documentation requires attention to detail to ensure seamless reporting and record-keeping.

• Prepare MIS reports and documents related to plant processes.
• Maintain up-to-date excise records and RD-8 documentation.
• Enter SAP data daily.
• Deliver monthly reports by the 2nd of each month.
• Submit internal and external reports promptly.
• Record ENA production, plant efficiency, and ENA quality on a daily basis.
• Emphasize Accuracy and Timeliness in report submissions.

People Management demands leadership skills to guide team members towards achieving excellence.

• Lead, guide, direct, and monitor process executives and boiler executives.
• Identify training needs and ensure employees receive necessary training.
• Collaborate with internal departments for smooth operations.
• Engage with government bodies as required.

• Monitor Man-hours lost due to inadequate skills.

EHS necessitates proactive measures to safeguard the environment and workplace health.

• Install meters on all water lines.
• Optimize water usage at the plant, reducing purchase quantities.
• Convene safety committee meetings, identifying and mitigating unsafe practices.
• Collaborate with EHS teams in safety audits, implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain records of water, power, steam, and fuel consumption.
• Monitor waste generated by the plant, tracking waste sent to landfill and hazardous waste.
• Meet Discharge targets.
• Ensure Adherence to Timelines in EHS efforts.
