Hiring a Mechanical Aircraft Propulsion Systems Architect for a dynamic position in the field of aerospace engineering.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in nacelle systems, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts. They should possess strong knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and certification processes.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience in aerospace systems engineering, with a focus on nacelle design, development, and testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will be proficient in engineering software such as CATIA, ANSYS, and MATLAB/Simulink. They will utilize CAD modeling tools to develop and refine designs. Additionally, they will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be able to interpret and analyze test data to verify system performance and compliance.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  1. Defining, decomposing, and managing system-level requirements for nacelles.
  2. Designing and developing nacelle systems, including conceptual and detailed design.
  3. Managing the integration of nacelle systems with the engine and aircraft, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers.
  4. Ensuring configuration management is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
  5. Developing and managing the testing and validation plans for nacelle components and systems.
