Key Engineering Challenges:

The role of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer involves designing, coordinating, and implementing plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and firefighting systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs that meet the needs of clients while adhering to national and international codes.

Technical Expertise:
  • Design appropriate plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial developments, ensuring efficient water management and conservation.
  • Perform heat load calculations using tools like HAP to determine heating and cooling requirements for buildings, optimizing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
  • Design HVAC systems including water-cooled and air-cooled chiller plants, Variable Refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, Direct Expansion (DX) systems, etc., considering factors such as climate, building size, and occupancy.
  • Design fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and hydrants, according to national and international codes, ensuring maximum safety and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (B.E/B.Tech/master's in mechanical)
  • 8 to 15 years in Plumbing/ HVAC & Firefighting with a strong background in system design, regulatory compliance, and project management.
