Global Supply Chain Specialist.

The Global Supply Chain Specialist plays a vital role in the reconciliation of supply hubs and toll processes to design, build, and deploy global solutions for end-to-end execution. This position requires knowledge in order management and logistics, as well as inventory reconciliation between legal entities and manufacturing sites.

We are seeking an individual with experience in SAP implementation projects in the mentioned areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Business Solution Manager responsible for supply hub and inventory reconciliation related processes in close collaboration with GPO (Global Process Owners), Global IC OM Department, Business Champions, Functional IT Experts, and Adopt counterparts.
  • Responsible for elaborating deliverables as per project plan during conceptual design, build, and adopt phase.
  • Ensure proper implementation of intermediate core solution designed in previous releases by adopting global templates to fit upcoming releases.
  • Establish or update business standard operating procedures.
  • Review and adopt, if necessary, training material and working instructions.
  • Execute business screening of IT solutions and testing of solution(s).
  • Support and contribute to data migration activities.
  • Align and agree on integration of relevant processes and their respective system solution(s).

Essential Requirements:

  • University degree in fields of supply chain management, business management, finance, information science, or comparable education.
  • Several years of experience in roles related to intercompany order management, logistics, or financial reconciliation.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured and careful manner.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work in fast-paced, quickly changing work environments.
  • High degree of teamwork and quality orientation.
  • Ability to operate in global matrix environments.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in solution design related to set-up of Novartis.
  • SAP Super User.
