Senior Supply Chain Manager

">Job Summary

The Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all site SCM activities in all process units and associated support functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverages a team to drive supply chain processes and performance in line with valid SOPs, HSE, and GMP rules.
  • Establishes a clear and effective business process ownership within the organizational unit in line with operational standards for supply chain excellence.
  • Maintains membership in the global SCM platform team and site leadership team.
Accountabilities:
  • Coordinates regional supply chain optimization to improve service processes and cost efficiency.
  • Leads cluster country heads in managing supply chain functions and driving high-performing local teams.
  • Manages supply and operations at medium-small sites, ensuring optimal balance between demand and resources.
  • Drives site operational excellence initiatives to enhance performance, productivity, and quality.
  • Ensures site supply chain execution meets expected standards and complies with valid operational policies, HSE, and GMP rules.
  • Chairs demand and supply reviews according to MRP II and operational standards.
  • Supports front-end network product management by implementing best practice supply chain standards and processes.
  • Contributes to customer-driven reviews to identify major changes and trends affecting site supply reviews.
  • Provides strategic support to process units, SCM, and associated functions while participating in plant, country, and global leadership teams.
  • Promotes optimal supply chain configuration in terms of service processes and cost to meet required customer service levels.
  • Defines site-specific supply chain services requirements as part of formal SLAs between sites and operations centers.
  • Fosters implementation and maintenance of best practice supply chain standards and processes across operational and tactical planning.
  • Facilitates alignment at site level on capacity utilization by identifying production slots and sharing resources.
  • Leads supply chain projects to create, implement, and continuously improve core processes and standards.
  • Serves as business owner of supply chain tools and systems, nominating local business owners and super users to govern processes and align key accountabilities with global BPO directions.
  • Manages logistics and warehousing operations, including regional strategies, cost reduction initiatives, and service level agreements.
  • Optimizes warehousing and distribution networks to drive synergies between divisions and improve performance.
  • E nsures compliance with customs and trade laws and regulations by supporting issuance, implementation, and management of operational standards and policies.
  • Performs risk assessments, provides guidance, and drives timely closure of recognized gaps arising from internal and external controls.
  • Collaborates with CTC country managers and local CTC communities to address regional challenges.
  • Supports global CTC functions on various projects and identifies key performance indicators for delivery performance, throughput time, inventory levels, work-in-progress costs, quality, and first-time right release rates.
