We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to design, develop, and maintain our cutting-edge data infrastructure. This role is ideal for an expert with in-depth knowledge of ETL pipeline design, data modeling, and data engineering who excels in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows using SQL and ETL/ELT principles.
  • Develop transformation models using dbt and orchestrate pipelines via Airflow to optimize large-scale processing jobs in Apache Spark.
  • Tune and manage relational and analytical databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake) for optimal performance.
  • Architect and maintain schemas using Star Schema, 3NF, and SCD2 methodologies to support lakehouse architectures and scalable storage solutions.
  • Implement and enforce data governance, validation, and quality control mechanisms to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain DevOps standards using CI/CD, GitFlow, and containerization tools like Docker and Ansible to ensure smooth pipeline execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT design principles.
  • Strong experience with dbt, Airflow, and Spark to develop transformation models and orchestrate pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling techniques (Star Schema, 3NF, SCD2) to architect and maintain schemas.
  • Proven ability to optimize and tune PostgreSQL and Snowflake for performance.
  • Familiarity with lakehouse architecture principles and tools to design and support scalable storage solutions.
  • Solid experience in data governance, validation frameworks, and pipeline monitoring to ensure data integrity.
  • Strong grasp of GitFlow, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Ansible) to maintain DevOps standards.
