Senior System Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior system administrator to take on the responsibilities of designing, maintaining, and monitoring our IT infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our system administration team, ensuring that all tasks and projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, including experience with Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V Server environments. They will also have strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and assignments.

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions using Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V Server technologies
  • Administer and address user support tickets in alignment with ITIL principles
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Active Directory services
  • Maintain detailed documentation of Infrastructure services
  • Collaborate closely with the IT Security team to implement security best practices and controls

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred. 5+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Windows Server environments, is also required.

Preferred qualifications include MCSE or equivalent certification, proficiency managing on-premises/cloud Windows server deployments in Hyper-V, Azure, and AWS, and familiarity with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk.
