Senior Snowflake Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with hands-on experience in Matillion ETL and proven expertise in the Banking, Financial Services domain.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake, ensuring compliance, security, and performance to meet regulatory and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Warehouse Design: Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions.
  • Performance Tuning: Define and implement best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.
  • Data Modelling: Create scalable data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g., regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).
  • Data Pipelines: Build, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines using Matillion.
  • ELT Workflows: Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).
  • Error Handling: Implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Domain Expertise: Translate Bnaking data requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions.
  • Data Management: Work with structured/unstructured data like core banking systems, payments, credit risk, AML/KYC, collections.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance in data management.
  • Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, and reporting teams to deliver analytical datasets.
  • Cloud Engineering: Collaborate with cloud engineers to ensure secure, compliant cloud deployments.
  • Mentorship: Support and mentor junior engineers on Snowflake and Matillion best practices.
