At our organization, we are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines using Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and Stored Procedures.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data architectures using Snowflake's features.

They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Building ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and Stored Procedures
  • Designing data models with clustering keys and optimizing micro-partitioning
  • Implementing Snowpipe for real-time ingestion and external tables for data lake integration
  • Developing JavaScript/SQL stored procedures and UDFs for complex transformations
  • Writing complex SQL queries with window functions, CTEs, and pivots
  • Managing multi-cluster warehouses and implementing resource monitors for cost control
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Hands-on experience in Snowflake development
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake SQL and basic JavaScript stored procedures
  • Working understanding of Tasks, Streams, Stages, File Formats, Time Travel
  • Experience with dbt core concepts (models, sources, tests, snapshots)
  • Understanding of warehouse sizing, auto-suspend/resume, and query optimization
  • Familiarity with RBAC, data types, and semi-structured data (JSON/XML)
  • Basic knowledge of SnowSQL CLI and Snowflake web interface
