Job Title: Assistant ManagerJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at 3AK Chemie Pvt Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for various chemicals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Procurement of Chemicals:
    Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of chemicals, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  2. Vendor Sourcing:
    Identify and evaluate potential vendors to build a reliable supplier base, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  3. Vendor Relationship Management:
    Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable conditions and ensure supplier performance meets expectations.
  4. Market Analysis:
    Conduct market research to remain informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging suppliers to refine procurement strategies.
  5. Inventory Management:
    Collaborate with inventory management teams to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
  6. Cost Management:
    Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for savings through strategic sourcing and effective negotiation.
  7. Compliance and Risk Management:
    Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement activities and manage risks associated with vendor contracts and relationships.
  8. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
  9. Performance Metrics:
    Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities to assess vendor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  1. Experience in Chemical Procurement:
    A proven track record in the procurement of various chemicals, particularly within the paint, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
  2. Vendor Management Skills:
    Strong skills in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management.
  3. Analytical Skills:
    Excellent analytical abilities to evaluate market trends and supplier performance effectively.
  4. Communication Skills:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  5. Negotiation Skills:
    Proven ability to negotiate contracts and terms to achieve optimal outcomes for the organization.
  6. Team Collaboration:
    Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
  7. Graduation Degree:
    A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  8. Strategic Thinking:
    Ability to develop long-term procurement strategies that align with business goals and market conditions.
  9. Project Management:
    Strong project management skills to oversee procurement initiatives and ensure timely completion.
  10. Problem-Solving Skills:
    Proficiency in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions quickly.
