ERP Project Leadership Opportunity

We seek a skilled and accomplished ERP project leader to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex enterprise resource planning projects.

This role is pivotal to driving business outcomes through effective project management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1. Project Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for ERP implementations.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals and strategies.
  • 2. ERP Implementation Leadership:
    • Lead full-cycle ERP implementations from initiation through to go-live and stabilization.
    • Drive continuous improvement and system optimization post-deployment to ensure maximum return on investment.
  • 3. Cross-Functional Team Management:
    • Lead and coordinate internal cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, consultants, and business stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
    • Provide strong leadership, coaching, and direction to ensure team alignment and accountability.
  • 4. Stakeholder & Change Management:
    • Communicate project milestones, status updates, risks, and issues to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and expectation management.
    • Support organizational change management and training efforts to facilitate smooth user adoption and minimize disruption.
  • 5. Risk & Issue Management:
    • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies, ensuring timely intervention and resolution.
    • Develop and execute risk response and contingency plans to safeguard project success.
  • 6. Quality & Compliance:
    • Ensure ERP solutions meet business, functional, and technical requirements, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
    • Oversee QA processes including testing strategies, validation, and audits to guarantee quality and compliance.
  • 7. Vendor & Partner Management:
    • Evaluate, select, and manage vendors and implementation partners to optimize project outcomes.
    • Monitor vendor performance to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget.
  • 8. Budget & Cost Control:
    • Manage ERP project budgets effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing financial risks.
    • Monitor project financials and report on budget performance to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing ERP projects with a proven track record of success.
  • Deep understanding of ERP methodologies, system architecture, and integration points, as well as knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex project environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Certification), demonstrating expertise and commitment to excellence.
