Salesforce QA Engineer

About the Role:

As a Salesforce QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications. This involves developing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases for various Salesforce functionalities.

This role demands strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve the desired results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrations with SAP).
  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality benchmarks.
  • Design and develop robust, reusable automated test scripts using tools such as AccelQ, Selenium, Provar, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework for Salesforce regression testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.) to support continuous delivery.
  • Write and execute complex SOQL and SQL queries for backend data validation.
  • Conduct API testing for Salesforce and related system integrations.
  • Validate Salesforce backend configurations, process flows, validation rules, and triggers for consistency and accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in QA testing with a focus on Salesforce applications.
  • Hands-on expertise in manual and automated testing for Salesforce and SAP platforms.
  • Strong experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud (Service Cloud experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in SOQL and SQL for backend data testing and validation.
  • Strong experience in automation frameworks and tools (AccelQ, Selenium, Provar, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
  • Good understanding of Salesforce APIs and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
