Job Description

This role involves combining interface design concepts with digital design to create an optimal user experience. The ideal candidate will establish milestones that encourage cooperation and teamwork.

  • Design User Interfaces: Develop overall concepts for improving the user experience within a business webpage or product, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and convenient for customers.
  • Collaborate with Development Team: Collaborate with back-end web developers and programmers to improve usability.
  • User Interface Testing: Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function properly.
  • ETL Job Replication: Design data pipelines in Python (using libraries like Pandas, Pyspark, etc.) to replicate the ETL jobs previously done in Talend.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills are essential for this role:

  • Python Programming: Proficiency in Python programming, especially with libraries like Pandas, Pyspark, or Dask for ETL scripting.
  • SQL Querying: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, joins, aggregations, and data transformations.
  • Snowflake Skills: Expertise in Snowflake SQL, Snowflake data types, and knowledge of how Snowflake handles various data types and mapping data types from the original ETL flow.
  • Database Design and Optimization: Knowledge of database design and optimization, including stored procedures and functions, and Snowflake stored procedures and user-defined functions (UDF).
  • Data Transformation: Familiarity with data transformation, error handling, and logging.
