Job Title: Data Solutions Architect

Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a senior data solutions architect, responsible for designing and developing robust APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot. You will have hands-on experience in data processing, scalable On Prem/Cloud solutions, and integration with different databases and APIs.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and database management. They should be proficient in using version control systems like Git, CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins, and containerization & orchestration technologies like Docker and OpenShift.

You will work closely with the engineering team to develop performance-efficient ETL flows dealing with millions of rows in volume. The successful candidate will have experience working in SAFE Agile Scrum project delivery model and good working knowledge of Unix scripts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Java and Spring Boot and ensure efficient data exchange between applications.
  • Implement API security measures including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
  • Develop integrations with different data sources and other APIs/Web Services.
  • Develop / Maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform code reviews and implement suggested improvements.
Requirements:
  • Must have years of hands-on development of ETL jobs using IBM DataStage version 11 or higher.
  • Experience managing and/or leading a team of developers.
  • Working knowledge of Data Modelling, solution architecture, normalization, data profiling etc.
