Job Description:

Senior Procurement Manager

We seek an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and sourcing efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the purchase and store team to achieve departmental targets.
  • Optimize procurement, inventory, and sourcing processes for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Understand department requirements, club purchase needs, and source accordingly at group level.
  • Negotiate with existing and new vendors (OEMs, foreign vendors, distributors) for best pricing and quality.
  • Finalize L1/L2 vendors, execute agreements, and maintain vendor trackers with cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage inventory to meet production demands while minimizing waste and obsolescence.
  • Continuously explore and develop new vendors to improve rates and services.
  • Utilize ERP for tracking, and reporting.
  • Monitor costs, analyze performance metrics, and report improvements to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 13–17 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (Manufacturing industry experience preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, and supplier management processes.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive cost efficiency.
