HCL Tech is seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Operations and Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Ongoing Due Diligence, Enhanced due Diligence, and reviewing suspicious account activity.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of KYC, AML, and CDD principles and practices, as well as proficiency in using KYC systems and data management tools. They will also have an understanding of organizational structures and experience of the breadth of AML requirements for range of corporate entities specific to the UK market.

Key responsibilities will include performing ongoing due diligence on Trusts, Charities, Clubs and Societies, Company Limited by Shares, Company Limited by Guarantee, and unincorporated bodies. The candidate will conduct comprehensive research and analysis to update customer profiles, ensuring accurate risk assessment and compliance with AML and KYC regulations.

The role requires gathering information from various sources, including public records, databases, internal and external systems. The candidate will assess customer risk level based on factors such as business types, location, and transactions. They will detect potential risk, including suspicious transactions and non-compliant customer activity.

The estimated salary for this position is ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience. HCL Tech offers a competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and opportunities for growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with professional certification such as CAMS or CAME preferred.
