About this opportunity:

We are seeking a Biology specialist with a strong background in PhD-level programs to join our team of experts working on cutting-edge AI projects.

As a Biology specialist, you will be responsible for designing and solving challenging biological problems to probe the limitations of large language models.

You will develop high-quality, step-by-step solutions with clear and rigorous reasoning and collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.

The ideal candidate should have excellent research and analytical skills, ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations, creative and lateral thinking abilities, and excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.

We offer a fully remote environment, opportunity to work on leading AI projects, potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs, and flexible working hours averaging 20/30/40 hours per week for the duration of the contract assignment.

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that is accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems.

You will contribute to defining new evaluation benchmarks based on Biology curricula spanning to PhD-level topics and help fine-tune large language models using your strong analytical and english comprehension skills.

Requirements

Candidates pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field are eligible and encouraged to apply.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to analyze and solve complex biological problems with a structured approach and explain Biology concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and simulations when needed.
