Oracle ASCP Specialist Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves designing, configuring, and deploying Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning applications within the Oracle e-Business Suite environment.

As an Oracle ASCP specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, inventory management, distribution planning, system configuration, integration, and data management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production scheduling, with experience in managing and optimizing production schedules to balance conflicting objectives.

You will also be responsible for coordinating with production teams to ensure smooth operations, managing and optimizing production schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient operations, and leading and managing Oracle data conversion activities and migration from legacy systems to Oracle EBS.

Additionally, you will participate in project planning, implementation, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation support activities, resolve functional issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide guidance on Oracle best practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for staying updated with the latest Oracle product releases and features, contributing to ongoing process improvement.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle ASCP, Production Scheduling, Inventory, Work in Progress (WIP), Bill of Materials (BOM), and other related modules.
