Job Overview:

The Finance Executive will spearhead the company's financial strategy, ensuring robust operations, regulatory compliance, and seamless audit processes. This critical leadership role requires an expert in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and budgets aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage financial reporting across various jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Establish and oversee internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AML, KYC, tax, and regulatory filings, providing strategic guidance and support.
  • Design and maintain advanced financial reporting models to inform business decisions.
  • Lead treasury operations, including liquidity management and exchange accounts, to optimize cash flow and minimize risk.
  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, revenue recognition, and financial operations, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
  • Evaluate and mitigate financial and operational risks through regular assessments and recommendations.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the board, informing key business decisions.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, with a strong track record of success.
  • In-depth understanding of crypto markets and blockchain transactions, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex financial systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to Fintech firms, with experience in managing statutory audits.
  • Profound expertise in financial controls, risk management, and treasury operations, with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • CA/CPA/ACCA certification is highly desirable.

  • Experience in the Crypto payment or infrastructure space, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional licensing and regulations, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Exposure to UAE tax accounting and cross-border payments framework, with a solid understanding of regional market dynamics.
