Financial Analyst Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Finance department, you will play a vital role in shaping our financial strategy and driving business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with industry standards, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. You will also liaise with auditors for statutory and internal audits, maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial closings, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with statutory and internal audit requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Provide strategic insights and financial modeling to support business decisions.
  • Analyze financial performance and identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks, including IND AS and IFRS.
  • Hands-on experience in FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and accounting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
