We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Executive to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities for our plant/facility in Ichalkaranji.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies.
- Maintenance Planning & Execution:">
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures for all machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.">
- Execute corrective and breakdown maintenance activities promptly and effectively, diagnosing faults, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quick resolution.">
- Plan and coordinate repair and installation activities, ensuring minimum disruption to operations.">
Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting:
">Possess strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems (as applicable to the industry).
">Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
">Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment failures, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
">Spare Parts & Inventory Management:
">Manage the inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring availability of critical spares while optimizing stock levels to avoid excess inventory.
">Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement of spare parts, tools, and services.
">Safety & Compliance:
">Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
">Conduct safety briefings and ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) by the maintenance team.
">Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions for identified non-conformities.
">Team Leadership & Training (if applicable):
">Supervise, guide, and train junior maintenance staff and technicians on proper maintenance techniques, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
">Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the maintenance department.
">Documentation & Reporting:
">Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, spare parts consumption, and calibration records.
">Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and budget utilization for management review.
">Requirements:
">1-3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field;
">Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems;
">Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field;
