We are seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to spearhead our maintenance department. As the head of maintenance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance strategy that ensures seamless plant operations. Your expertise in optimizing processes, driving efficiency, and managing budgets will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.

1. Develop and implement a robust maintenance strategy aligned with business objectives and production targets. Foster a high-performance team through effective leadership, mentorship, and management.
2. Drive the shift from reactive to proactive (preventive and predictive) maintenance practices to maximize asset uptime and reduce costs.
3. Oversee all aspects of maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance.
4. Implement and optimize maintenance procedures and standard operating procedures for critical equipment.
5. Maximize computerized maintenance management system functionality for work order management, asset tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
6. Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring failures.
7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function to enhance efficiency and quality.
8. Manage the annual maintenance budget, controlling expenses related to labor, spare parts, consumables, and external services.
9. Oversee spare parts inventory management, ensuring availability while minimizing carrying costs.
10. Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality of service.
11. Provide expert technical guidance and support for complex troubleshooting and repair activities.
12. Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery and equipment.
13. Ensure strict compliance with local and national health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
14. Implement robust safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits.
