Lead AI Initiative:

  • Design and drive the development of innovative artificial intelligence projects to enhance patient health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and customers to identify pain points and create large-scale solutions.
  • Develop technical architecture to productize machine-learning algorithms and bring them to market through strategic partnerships.
  • Break down complex business challenges into machine learning problems and design solution workflows.
  • Work with data platform and applications teams to integrate data science capabilities or algorithms into their products/workflows.
  • Build tools for repeatable data tasks to accelerate and automate development cycles.
  • Define and execute on a quarterly roadmap.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant fields (PhD preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in data science (healthcare experience a plus).
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in Python developing enterprise applications and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with deep learning techniques for NLP/computer vision models and state-of-the-art GenAI pipelines.
  • Demonstrable experience deploying deep learning models in production at scale with interactive improvements.
  • Keen interest in research and staying updated with key advancements in AI and ML industries.
  • Deep understanding of classical ML techniques - Random Forests, SVM, Boosting, Bagging - and building training and evaluation pipelines.
  • Experience with global and local model explainability using LIME, SHAP, and associated techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one ML platform among Databricks, Azure ML, Sagemaker.
  • Experience in developing and deploying production-ready models.
  • Knowledge of implementing an MLOps framework.
