About the Role :


We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist with 6-12 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, proven expertise in advanced analytics, and hands-on experience in the Healthcare domain.

You will lead a team of data scientists/ML engineers, work closely with stakeholders, and drive end-to-end initiatives from problem framing to production Responsibilities :


- Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models, deep learning solutions, and AI-driven systems in the Healthcare domain.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business) to define data strategies and impactful healthcare-focused use cases.

- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists and ML engineers, fostering technical excellence and innovation.

- Translate complex business and clinical challenges into analytical problems and deliver actionable insights.

- Ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of models in production environments.

- Conduct research on emerging ML/AI techniques and integrate them into healthcare-related projects where applicable.

- Drive adoption of best practices in feature engineering, model evaluation, experiment design, and MLOps.

- Present insights and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear, compelling Skills & Qualifications : Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

Domain Expertise : Proven experience in Healthcare data, EHR/EMR systems, medical imaging, clinical NLP, claims data, or healthcare analytics is mandatory.

Core Expertise :


- Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Predictive Modeling, Recommender Systems.

- Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, etc.).

- Proficiency in big data tools and platforms : Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, AWS/GCP/Azure ML services.

- Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring in production.

Leadership Skills :

- Proven track record of leading projects/teams, mentoring junior members, and engaging with senior stakeholders.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication to Have :


- Experience in Generative AI, LLMs, and advanced NLP techniques in healthcare.

- Contributions to research publications, open-source, or patents.
