About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in the healthcare domain to drive data-driven insights, predictive modeling, and AI/ML solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare data (EHR/EMR, claims, clinical data, HL7/FHIR), combined with advanced data science and machine learning skills, to solve complex challenges and lead high-impact Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition, data exploration, and model development to deployment.

- Work extensively with healthcare datasets (structured/unstructured, clinical notes, claims, genomic, patient outcomes, etc.).

- Build and optimize predictive models, NLP pipelines, and deep learning solutions tailored to healthcare applications.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare data privacy/security regulations.

- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists and analysts, setting best practices in modeling, experimentation, and MLOps.

- Present insights, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 - 10 years of experience in Data Science/AI/ML, with at least 3+ years in healthcare domain projects.

- Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and ML libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, etc.).

- Strong expertise in NLP, Deep Learning, Predictive Analytics, and Statistical Modeling.

- Hands-on experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD, SNOMED, etc.).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools.

- Strong knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and healthcare regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.


Good to Have :

- Experience with genomics, clinical trial analytics, or medical imaging (computer vision).

- Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
