Job Opportunity: Lead Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data scientist to lead our team. As a lead data scientist, you will be responsible for guiding teams in the development of cutting-edge machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage mid to large-sized teams, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
  • Develop and implement data science strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists to help them grow in their careers.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Spark with Scala/Python/Java.
  • Proficiency in building, training, and evaluating state-of-the-art machine learning models and its deployment.
  • Proficiency in statistical and probabilistic methods such as SVM, Decision-Trees, Bagging and Boosting Techniques, Clustering.
  • Proficiency in core NLP techniques like Text Classification, Named Entity Recognition (NER), Topic Modeling, Sentiment Analysis.
  • Good understanding of any cloud platform AWS, Azure or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of commercial pharma landscape and patient data/analytics.
  • Experience working with collaboration tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Python data-science and math packages such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Seaborn, PyCaret, Matplotlib.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, NLTK, Stanford NLP, PyTorch, LingPipe, Caffe, Keras, Spark ML, and OpenAI.
