Community Outreach Specialist

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute outreach strategies that align with our mission and goals. - Identify and engage with underserved or target communities to raise awareness and promote our services.

  • Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Foster and maintain relationships with community leaders, local NGOs, schools, religious organizations, and government bodies. - Represent us at community meetings, forums, and networking events.

  • Communication & Promotion:

- Prepare promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations. - Manage community outreach-related content for social media and local media.

  • Monitoring & Reporting:

- Track attendance, engagement, and outcomes of outreach programs. - Prepare regular reports detailing outreach activities and impact.

  • Administrative & Logistical Support:

- Coordinate logistics, materials, and volunteer support for events. - Maintain accurate records of all outreach engagements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Essential:
  • - Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Communications, or a related field. - 24 years of experience in community engagement, public relations, or program coordination.
  • Preferred:
  • - Experience working with marginalized or rural communities. - Familiarity with local government schemes and community dynamics.

Desirable Skills & Competencies:

  • - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Cultural awareness and sensitivity. - Event planning and organizational skills.
