As a Senior SQL Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain data warehousing solutions that form the backbone of our analytics and intelligence platform. You will be hands-on in query performance tuning, schema design, and advanced SQL engineering—pushing Snowflake to its limits to deliver high-performance, enterprise-grade solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced Snowflake SQL queries, stored procedures, and UDFs for large-scale analytics.
  • Architect efficient data models and schema structures (star, snowflake, and hybrid models) to optimize performance.
  • Build, monitor, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging Snowflake's native features (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks).
  • Conduct deep query performance tuning to handle billions of rows with speed and accuracy.
  • Implement and manage role-based security, data masking, and governance within Snowflake.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate requirements into high-performing data solutions.
  • Integrate Snowflake with other cloud platforms (AWS S3, Kafka, Redis, etc.) and BI tools.
  • Own and maintain best practices for cost optimization, clustering, and partitioning within Snowflake.
  • Document architecture, queries, and processes for scalability and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance on Snowflake best practices.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Snowflake.
  • Experience with data modeling, schema design, and query performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and BI tools.
