Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Big Data Engineer to drive roadmap features of our Enterprise TruRisk Platform. This exciting opportunity will enable you to work with a collaborative team, leveraging your expertise to deliver scalable and distributed SaaS-based Security Risk Prioritization solutions.

As a thought leader in data platforms and pipelines, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to the engineering organization on data platform design, roll out, and evolution. You will also serve as a liaison to product teams, professional services, and sales engineers on solution and trade-off reviews, representing engineering in these conversations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a robust data platform strategy, aligning with business objectives and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide expert guidance on data architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, driving delivery of high-impact initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy secure big data clusters, meeting stringent compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers on advanced technical topics, promoting knowledge sharing and career growth within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of total experience, with 4+ years of relevant experience in designing and architecting Big Data solutions using Spark.
  • Strong experience in performance benchmarking testing for Big Data technologies.
  • Expert knowledge in data lakes, caching components, messaging queues, and related ecosystems.
  • Experience working with ML models engineering and related deployment.
  • Project management experience, with a focus on delivering large-scale systems focused on managing the infrastructure layer of the technology stack.
