Job Title: Industrial Automation Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Industrial Automation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of industrial robots, including pre-programmed instructions, maintenance checks, and minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executing pre-programmed instructions for industrial robots to perform tasks such as welding, material handling, or assembly.
  • Observing robotic systems during operation to ensure proper functioning and identify any deviations from expected performance.
  • Performing routine checks, cleaning, and minor repairs to maintain optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Diagnosing and resolving minor issues or malfunctions in the robotic systems, escalating complex problems to the relevant teams.
  • Preparing industrial robots for production runs by loading fixtures, calibrating equipment, and ensuring proper tooling is in place.
  • Inspecting the output of industrial robots to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Working with engineers, production staff, and other teams to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and resolve issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in programming, setup, and inspection processes.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate with team members and other departments.
