Invoicing Trainee Role
About the Job:This is a crucial position in maintaining financial accuracy. As an Invoicing Trainee, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and precise invoicing.
The job involves preparing and issuing invoices to customers, meeting invoice delivery deadlines, and entering invoices into customer invoicing systems. You will also be responsible for submitting invoices electronically, understanding customer-specific requirements, and verifying each field on the invoices before submission.
You will work closely with the payroll & invoicing team to accelerate the invoice submission process, send out statements of accounts to customers, reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets, and handle invoice rejections and credit and rebills.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and issue invoices to customers
- Meet invoice delivery deadlines
- Enter invoices into customer invoicing systems
- Submit invoices electronically
- Understand customer-specific requirements
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Table)
- Good analytical & logical skills
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Maintain accurate records and files
Fresh graduates or up to 1.5 years of relevant experience in invoicing
A commerce or finance background (B. Com/M. Com/BBA/MBA) is essential
