Deputy Project Manager

  1. He should have executed a single project with a volume of over 500 crores.
  2. He should be able to command an entire project and possess in-depth knowledge of tender clauses, billing, department correspondence, and claims.
  3. He should be able to resolve issues such as forest permissions, highway permissions, and local bodies permissions.
  4. He should have thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  5. He should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  6. He should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  7. He should be able to prepare detailed project plans considering timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
  8. He should monitor and control the progress of projects by making necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
  9. He should create a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
  10. He should prepare budgets, manage projects according to budget, control costs, and achieve targeted margins.
  11. He should assess approvals of project expenditure considering its financial implications on the project cost.
  12. He should understand and execute quality control measures, safety rules, and regulations.
  13. He should negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other vendors.
  14. He should plan resources, manpower, and other materials to achieve budgeted/planned performance.
  15. He should possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial aspects, risk management, and strategic decisions.

Key Requirements:

  • BE/B Tech/M Tech in Civil
  • MBA in Project/Construction/Finance preferred
  • 9-12 years of experience in Irrigation/Water Supply projects is mandatory
