Business Growth Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Growth Lead to spearhead our business initiatives in India.

  • This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing customer databases, and maintaining regular contact with customers to drive revenue growth.
  • You will be responsible for procuring and selling plastic resins from Indian producers and distributors to existing and new customers.
  • You will represent the company at meetings, conferences, and international tradeshows to promote our products and trademarks.
  • Maintaining relationships with resin producers in India and assisting the Branch Manager in monitoring logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocations is also a key part of this role.
  • You will conduct market research to gather information for price setting and analyze market trends based on region, seasonality, and customer habits.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in trading polymers in India and international markets.
  • In-depth understanding of the polymer market in India.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally for business.
  • Knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations.
Skills:
  • Demonstrable analytical thinking and business insight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding leadership quality and negotiation skills.
  • Time and task management.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade, or related fields. MBA preferred.
