Job Title: Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Takes ownership of tax compliance and statutory obligations, including ROC, Income Tax, GST Registration and Amendments, GST Returns Filing, TDS Return Filing, etc.
  • Manages and monitors professional tax obligations in multiple states (Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, West Bengal, etc.).
  • Maintains accurate financial records using Busy accounting software; prepares and files returns using CompuTax or similar tax filing software.
  • Oversees financial operations for multiple branches and locations, ensuring tight control and consistency.
  • Handles all aspects of e-commerce financial management (order reconciliation, payout tracking, GST nuances, returns, etc.).
  • Creates and manages advanced Excel reports, dashboards, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinates with auditors, consultants, and internal teams to keep processes streamlined and fully compliant.

Requirements:

  • Candidates who have completed CA (Inter) are preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance for multi-location businesses.
  • Technical proficiency with Busy accounting software and working knowledge of tax return software like CompuTax.
  • In-depth experience with GST, TDS, ROC, and multi-state Professional Tax compliance.
  • Solid background in e-commerce financial management, able to handle multiple platforms and complex reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills: pivots, macros, VLOOKUPs, and report automation.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and integrity are non-negotiable.
  • Proactive communicator and team player who can own and improve processes.
