About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics group, you will be responsible for designing and developing business intelligence solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI, with the ability to build scalable data pipelines and develop high-quality dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Engineering & Reporting
    • Develop and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets.
    • Implement data models (star schema, snowflake, data marts) tailored for reporting.
    • Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and semantic layers.
    • Ensure reports and dashboards follow governance, security, and performance best practices.
    • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
  • Data Integration & Quality
    • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts.
    • Work with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
    • Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics needs.
    • Support integration of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.
  • Collaboration & Offshore Delivery
    • Work closely with onsite leads, data architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
    • Provide status updates, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure alignment with enterprise BI initiatives.
    • Collaborate with offshore team members to maintain consistent coding standards and best practices.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of reporting workflows.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. 3+ years of experience in business intelligence development, data engineering, or a related field.
  2. Strong technical skills in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
  3. Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. Effective communication and project management skills.
