Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and develop wiring harnesses for the automotive industry.

  • The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering and electronics, with a strong background in wiring harness design and development.
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is required, preferably from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in tools such as CAPH Xc, Logic, and Simstress is essential for effective wiring harness design and layout.
  • Familiarity with child parts used in wiring harness, including wires, fuses, connectors, and mechanical protections, is necessary for this role.
  • Knowledge of DFMEA and Fault Tree Analysis is highly desirable for risk assessment and mitigation.
  • A thorough understanding of basic theories and design concepts for automotive wiring harness is crucial for delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations is also required to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing wiring harnesses for various automotive applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks through effective use of DFMEA and Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering and electronics, with a focus on wiring harness design and development.
