Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Design Lead to oversee the engineering activities for our solar PV power plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and executing civil/structural engineering tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality drawings and documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely delivery of engineering drawings and documents
  • Ensuring deliveries align with project schedules
  • Reviewing drawings by design engineers and draughts persons
  • Checking design and sizing calculations of engineering electrical equipment
  • Estimating and planning man-hour requirements
  • Reviewing BOQ and submitting to contracts team
  • Providing technical clarifications as needed

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with multiple disciplines
  • Providing support and clarifications to site execution teams
  • Inspecting equipment from finalized vendors
  • Clarifying issues w.r.t. design and requirements of clients

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have technical expertise in engineering activities for civil and structural covering control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, inverter rooms, grading, roads, and drainage. He/she should be able to review vendor engineering documents with respect to civil and structural design.
