Platform Integration Specialist

This key role oversees the integration of various systems to ensure seamless interactions.

  • System Integration: Lead integration projects across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and secure rollouts.
  • Scope Definition: Define project scope, milestones, and success metrics for middleware/API integrations.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate middleware service requirements between developers and business teams.
  • Workstream Management: Track and manage integration workstreams: real-time APIs, batch jobs, Kafka/RabbitMQ, SFTP.
  • Data Validation: Validate data contracts, mapping, and transformation rules.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with API security, data privacy, and operational risk standards.
  • Documentation: Document integration touchpoints, workflows, and SLAs.
  • Risk Visibility: Provide visibility on risks, blockers, and delivery status to senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: 8–10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in project/program management of API & middleware integrations.
  • Wealth Management Knowledge: Mandatory: Experience in the wealth management / WealthTech domain.
  • Integration Techniques: Strong understanding of system integration techniques (APIs, message queues, SFTP).
  • API Tools: Familiarity with API tools (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
  • Node.js Architecture: Exposure to Node.js-based architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Financial Data Formats: Knowledge of financial data formats (FIX, OFX, JSON, XML).
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management, communication, and delivery skills.
