Job Title: IT Crisis Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our IT crisis management efforts. As an IT Crisis Manager, you will be responsible for detecting and responding to major IT incidents, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders, and driving recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and detect all major IT incidents and events, identifying potential risks and threats.
  • Establish and maintain communication of incident timeline and recovery progress to all critical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear expectations.
  • Coordinate and document all critical recovery steps throughout an outage, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Major Incident Management, with expertise in incident response and resolution.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to navigate complex incidents and multiple teams.
  • Understanding of solving complex problems with information technology software and hardware.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to handle and perform in high-stress, high-stakes situations, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven decision-making and influencing skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Broad knowledge of technology across application and infrastructure environments, with expertise in incident management tools and processes.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, flexibility to work in rotational shifts and weekly time-off schedules.
