Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Professional to design and implement robust security measures protecting our IT systems, networks, and data.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement secure solutions for IT infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Maintain constant vigilance over network and system activity for potential breaches, anomalies, or threats.
  • Carry out regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response plans and lead the response to security incidents when they occur.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend strategic mitigation strategies.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, virtual private networks, and other essential security tools.
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams to integrate security into DevSecOps practices ensuring seamless security integration throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Manage and update security documentation, runbooks, and technical reports accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide regular education on cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices to employees ensuring best practices adoption.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of network, application, and cloud security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners is required.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
  • Familiarity with relevant security frameworks and regulatory compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of relevant certifications like CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, GIAC, etc.
  • Experience working with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.
  • Background in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture enhances your suitability.
